The German Film and Media Rating awarded “Googoosh – Made of Fire” the rating “particularly valuable”.
From the justification: “The haunting narrative style, combined with Googoosh’s powerful life story, makes the film a rousing experience – both for connoisseurs and for viewers who are getting to grips with the history of Iran and its music scene for the first time.”
